Conte Crayon | Cloth 
This crayon-like medium can easily sit on the top of a textured grainy surface, or can be thickly applied and smudged to create the illusion of deep crevasses. The focus of this study concentrated on the application of hot spot highlights and core shadows by allowing as much of the mid-toned paper to be revealed.
